BMUC has partnered with Tithe.ly to bring you online giving!

We are excited about this new opportunity for our friends and church family. Now, you can give conveniently from your phone or online from anywhere at any time. We are working on continually improving your experience with BMUC and hope this will be a big addition to the “plus” column.

We have two new ways to give: On your mobile device (phone, iPad, etc.) or online from your computer (laptop or desktop).

To access giving from your mobile device:

Download the Tithe.ly App from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). Once you’ve downloaded the app, search for Berkeley Methodist United Church and just follow the prompts.

• If this is your first time giving with Tithe.ly you will be prompted to create an account that you can use for all future gifts. 
• The first time you will need to add your credit/debit card or ACH/banking info.
• Once your account has been created you won’t need to enter your personal or payment information again. Just enter your PIN and give!
• You also have the ability to set up your gift as “recurring” so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to send in your gift.

To give online:

We will take you to a secure Tithe.ly site where you will then follow the same procedures as our mobile folks. Just like on the mobile app, you can set up your account to make future logins even quicker and you can set up recurring giving!

Currently, we have two ways to donate – donations to our General Fund which goes toward everything BMUC does except for improvements on the building and the Building Fund (which you guessed it – goes toward improving the building). When we have special giving opportunities (like when we support the work of the Missions Committee or Outreach to the community), we will add those to the list for a limited time.

If you want to give in memory of someone or in honor of someone, please simply put a notation in the Memo line so we can mark that down. And thank you in advance.

Thanks to our Council of Ministries who approved this partnership and thanks to all of you for continuing to support the work BMUC is doing in our community and for our community. We love you all.
