The 2022 Kato Memorial Scholarship was awarded this year to Joshua Kuramoto

Joshua Kuramoto of Blaine Memorial United Methodist Church was awarded the Kato Memorial Scholarship for 2022.  He will receive an amount of $1,000. 

Joshua is in his second year at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. where he hopes to become an elder in the United Methodist Church.  He has served at both Asian Camp and at his home church as one of the youth directors. He was also a Global Mission Fellow and served for two years in Germany at Bremen United Methodist Church and assisted in their refugee outreach program.
