BMUC is observing the annual Day of Remembrance of Executive Order 9066, which resulted in the incarceration of west-coast Japanese Americans during World War II. There will be an exhibit in the social hall of memorabilia. Former internees are available to talk about their experiences and answer questions. If-10 you have artifacts to display, please bring them before 9:30 or 10am.
It is important to remember this injustice so it will never be repeated, especially considering the current growing intolerance towards Muslim Americans.
